![]() Thanks to its position on the Somerset Levels, hikes in Glastonbury and the surroundings are mostly flat. ![]() While it’s a steep ascent, it’s close to the town centre and even children will enjoy racing each other to the top. The town itself offers pretty streets to explore and plenty of cafes for a rest stop, but you’ll often find yourself drawn along its country lanes to its eye-catching and famous hill, Glastonbury Tor. Walks around Glastonbury are filled with myths and legends – the area is inextricably linked to King Arthur (and a music festival). ![]()
